At a glance

Sportmonks supplies the connected cricket records.
Live Scores follows current in-play records from the provider.
Fixtures, Results, and Match Detail pages organize the available record fields.

Source and attribution

Connected match information is supplied by Sportmonks Cricket API. Match pages display the provider name and source link when available. CricLive Studio validates and normalizes the response into a consistent website format for teams, match states, schedules, scores, innings, venues, and source fields.

Website match coverage

The Live Scores page follows fixtures returned by the Sportmonks Livescores endpoint and checks for new data every eight seconds while live records are present in the active browser tab. Fixtures and Results use rolling date windows. Search and filters support discovery by team, competition, format, city, and venue across the records included in each page response.

WhatsApp live updates

Each homepage hero banner and the desktop header link to the operator-provided WhatsApp destination as an optional channel for cricket update messages. The current destination displays a public profile identity that differs from CricLive Studio. Visitors can review the destination shown by WhatsApp before continuing.

Statuses and transitions

A fixture can move through starting, innings, scheduled break, interrupted, delayed, finished, postponed, abandoned, or cancelled states. A fixture selected by Sportmonks for Livescores can appear as Starting before the first innings state. The displayed label follows the normalized provider status.

Schedule time and match update time

The scheduled timestamp identifies the listed match start and is formatted for the visitor’s device timezone. When Sportmonks supplies a fixture update timestamp, the page labels it Provider updated. When that field is absent, the page labels the time the record was received as Feed retrieved.

Information shown on match pages

A match page can display team names, score, overs, status, competition, round, venue, city, scheduled time, innings summary, result text, source name, and a clearly labelled update time. The exact fields shown follow the connected record for that match.

Reporting a match-data issue

Use the contact form and choose Data correction to report a visible score, status, venue, schedule, competition, or attribution issue. Include both teams, the competition, approximate match time, affected page link, and exact field that needs review.
